चार वेद, छह दर्शन, दो इतिहास ग्रन्थ, और अठारह पुराण में विस्तारित सनातन धर्म का उपास्य देव निर्गुण निराकार ॐ और उनका सगुण साकार पंचदेव रूप है। विभिन्न मतों और संप्रदायों में फैले सनातन धर्म में निर्गुण निराकार ॐ और उनके सगुण साकार पंचदेव के पुराणों में मान्य अवतार ही सनातन धर्मावलंबीयों के उपास्य देव है।
उनके शास्त्र मान्य स्वरूप और सम्मान की रक्षा करना इस संक्रमण काल में आवश्यक है, जब चारों ओर विभिन्न प्रपंच से सनातन धर्मावलंबीयों का मतांतरण करने के षडयंत्र चल रहे है। सनातन सेवा ट्रस्ट "सनातन धर्म सुरक्षा परिषद" नाम से कार्यरत अपनी इस विशेष समिति के माध्यम से यह कार्य करने का लक्ष्य रखती है।
